This biodegradable / compostable cup is made from 100% renewable resourses. It is lined with a plant based coating. No bleaching or chemical dyes are used. Soy inks are used for the printing on each cup. Just compare that info to regular coffee cups which use toxic petroleum based coating to line their cups, bleaching agents are used, printing dyes are chemicaly based....and yes, you are ingesting those chemicals along with your favorite hot beverage !
